Victory Park Capital (“VPC”), a leading investment firm based in Chicago, announced today that one of its financial services portfolio companies, LendUp, was named as a finalist in Fast Company’s 2018 World Changing Ideas Awards. The award honors businesses, policies, projects and concepts that offer innovative solutions to the most pressing issues facing humanity. This is LendUp’s second recognition from Fast Company this year after being named among Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies in March 2018.

LendUp, a VPC portfolio company since 2014, is being honored as a finalist in the consumer products category. Founded in 2012, LendUp aims to help Americans build better credit by providing short-term loans of up to $250 and credit cards with minimal fees. Both products are designed to get customers moving upward on the credit ladder.
