Fast Company Names Commonbond and LendUp to its 2018 World’s Most Innovative Companies list

CHICAGO – March 2, 2018 – Victory Park Capital (“VPC”), an investment firm focused on middle-market debt and equity investments, announced today that two of its portfolio companies, Commonbond and LendUp, were named among the World’s Most Innovative Companies, a list of leading enterprises and rising newcomers that exemplify the best in business and innovation by Fast Company.
CommonBond, a VPC portfolio company since 2015, was ranked No. 1 in the Education sector. Founded in 2011 to combat the rising cost of higher education, CommonBond combines competitive rates and award-winning customer service for both undergraduate and graduate students to create a better borrowing experience, funding over $1 billion in student loans to date.
LendUp, a portfolio company since 2014, was ranked No. 7 in the Finance sector. Founded in 2012, LendUp aims to help Americans build better credit by providing short-term loans of up to $250 and credit cards with minimal fees. Both products are designed to get customers moving upward on the credit ladder.
